Setting a Static IP for a Miner
There are two common ways to assign a static IP to a mining machine:
1. Configure in the Miner Web Interface
Log in to the miner’s web interface and go to Network settings.
Change the IP mode from Dynamic (DHCP) to Static, then enter the required network information:
IP Address
Subnet Mask
Default Gateway
DNS Server
Save the settings and reboot the miner for the changes to take effect.
2. Configure Using Management Tools
Use the official IP management tool provided by the miner manufacturer or a third-party batch management tool.
These tools can scan miners on the LAN and assign static IPs in batches, which is more efficient for mining farm deployments.
Note
The interface and terminology may vary by miner brand and model. If the option cannot be found, refer to the official user manual or contact the manufacturer’s technical support.
